Riboflavin
Riboflavin, Lactoflavin, zu den wasserlöslichen Vitaminen gehörendes, als Bestandteil von Flavinmononucleotid (FMN) und Flavinadenindinucleotid (FAD), den Coenzymen verschiedener Enzyme ( Flavoproteine), wirkendes Vitamin. Es kommt besonders reichlich in Milch, Käse und Hefe vor. Mangel beim Menschen ist selten. Das sich daraus entwickelnde Krankheitsbild beinhaltet Schädigungen an Haut, Schleimhäuten und Cornea.
